DWTS thoughts.

Shawn Johnson won. i aint mad at that. actually at the start of the results show I had a feeling that she just may win. She had come out and been killer the past month. besides in the past whoever KILLLED the freestyle always won. and SHAWN KILLED the freestyle by far.

but the reason for this post is i want to point out the brilliance that makes DWTS the show that it is. First off this show has brought ballroom dance into millions of homes along with that we’ve gotten to know some great professional dancers that have now become celebrities in their own right. if you dont like dancing … hell watch it for the people that r apart of this show … host tom bergeron is on point. his wittyness has perfect timing and he knows how to savor moments on live tv. the judges have come into their own and provide comedic comments that you just wouldnt expect. and samantha harris holds her own.

what this show also does is brings together generations. ballroom dancing in its own right has an old school feel and flavor. but this show brings young good looking hip celebs/professionals to those smooth sophisiticated dances. and the music is bananas i mean who would have ever thought you would see a paso doble being done to pink’s so what or a tango to beyonce’s single ladies?!?!?! i mean come on.

for those of you that dont watch DWTS. Dancing With The Stars. you’ll have to wait until the fall. or check it out on abc.com.

sOo it's been a minute ...

and to say nothing’s been going on since the last time i blogged would be a lie … and just pointless to be bloggin or even having a blog.

alot has happened in this 2009 that hasnt been great to say the least … so on April 13, (RIP APU LUIS) i decided that my 2009 would start then and there … fresh and new … moving forward with the head up and looking to the 2009 i am hoping for.

started the a’s job … promo crew … nice gig … really like it … im hoping the a’s do good this year … hopefully get to really do more and just learn more about working for a pro sports team. if you’re at the a’s games holla @ me. if u aint got my celly. twitter me … or facebook me … if u aint got none of that … then uMm hi random person reading this (highly doubtful)!

bout to be in vegas in about a week and a day or two … pac man fight weekend basically … flying out saturday morning partying until tuesday … much needed mini vacay get fucked up and party live trip … a lot of stresses in life … EVERYONE has em … it’s just some of us have those that we cant help but carry with us on the daily … i’m a cool calm collected person … but some stesses tho i dont wear on my sleeve … i wear them with a heavy heart … i think its a blessing and a curse

u ever just have a moment … where you mentally stop and just think … how did i get here? sometimes literally but more so metaphorically? not that u get stuck … but you’re doing something or your somewhere and something just sparks that open ended question … how did i get here? i’ve had that a couple of times this year already.

tv season is about to come to an end … many season finales coming up … CHUCK totally has continuallt gotten better and built up to what should be a great finale … and SHOULD NOT BE A SERIES finale … 24 has returned to form and definitely has not disappointed … lost and heroes have slowly picked up to finish out this season … hopefully they carry that momentum to next season. Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother … comedic enjoyment that i seriously enjoy and need

life has its ups and downs … right now sure im going thru some downs … with some ups trying to gain momentum … we make mistakes we’re human … decisions pass us by on the daily more often than not we make the ones that r best for us … we move on we live we dont look back … we pray we think we breathe we know that we are doing the best we can to be the person we want to be … i think that is all that we can really ask from ourselves to strive and try and live to be the person we want to be as best as we can.
